What is Deduce?

Deduce is a free, daily logic-reasoning puzzle built for Indian competitive-exam aspirants. Every day you get one fresh, server-validated puzzle — solve it in about five minutes, build a streak, and see where you rank.

It builds real exam skill on puzzles you can’t cram. Instead of grinding through hundreds of practice questions, you do one genuinely interesting, provably-correct puzzle a day — the same exam-pattern reasoning that shows up in banking and SSC papers — floor, seating and scheduling arrangements one day, syllogisms, data sufficiency, coding-decoding or series the next, rotating across 27 formats.

Who it’s for

Deduce is designed for aspirants preparing for India’s major competitive exams, with a focus on the reasoning section:

Why a daily puzzle works

What kind of puzzles?

The daily rotates across 27 exam-pattern formats in two families. On board days you get a set of people and a set of positions — for example, five people living on the five floors of a building — plus a handful of clues, and you deduce the one and only arrangement that satisfies every constraint. On MCQ days you get an exam-style question — syllogism, data sufficiency, coding-decoding, number series and more — and pick the one correct option. Every puzzle, whatever the format, is checked to have exactly one solution before it’s ever served, so there’s always a clean, logical path to the answer.

A coach built in

You're never stuck alone. A free assistant, Asha, answers how-to and product questions on every page; Coach subscribers also get Saarathi, an AI reasoning tutor that recommends what to drill next and explains the step-by-step why. See everything Deduce does or read about the AI reasoning coach.

The other half of the paper

Deduce trains reasoning. The quantitative-aptitude section needs a different muscle — raw calculation speed against a clock — so it has its own daily from the same team: ComputePrep, a free timed drill across 21 quant kinds, from vedic-maths shortcuts to DI, quadratic comparison and probability. Same engine, same aspirants: Deduce asks you to be provably right, ComputePrep asks you to be right before the buzzer. Ten minutes covers both.
